Alanna Matty is a Canadian singer-songwriter and producer known for her emotionally rich songwriting and dynamic live performances, both on stage and online. Rooted in alt/indie-folk her music blends lush arrangements, soaring harmonies, and a captivating lyrical honesty that connects deeply with audiences. Alanna has toured extensively across Canada and the United States, performing in venues, festivals, and DIY spaces while continuing to build a dedicated international fanbase via live streaming on Twitch. Her most recent album “Subject to Change” was nominated for Pop Album of the Year by Music Nova Scotia, and the companion album “Epilogue” is due to release this August.
Alanna just completed her first UK tour and is now preparing for her first time playing at NXNE in Toronto in June, and getting ready for her release show at the Drake Underground August 1st
When not on stage, Alanna lives in Halifax, Nova Scotia where she enjoys bouldering, video games, producing music and fixing up her little house.
